Laura

Laura is an engineering student who studies mathematics as part of her degree, so she understands firsthand how challenging some topics can feel at first. She believes in taking the time to fully grasp each concept, comparing maths to building blocks: you can’t move forward confidently until you have a strong foundation.

Her teaching style is patient, supportive, and tailored to help each student build both confidence and understanding. In lessons, Laura breaks down each topic clearly before moving on to practising past exam questions. This not only prepares students for the exam format but also helps them realise they often know more than they think — a valuable confidence boost.

To reinforce learning, Laura assigns a small amount of homework between lessons and makes herself available during the week to answer questions before the next session..
